I'm Kathy. I've been an athlete for as long as I can remember. I have played and competed in pretty much any sport I could "get my hands on" and was blessed to play volleyball on scholarship all through college. After college I moved to Hawai'i and became a personal trainer to both active duty military and civilians. I married an awesome guy who is active duty military and began following him all over the world.
I became a mother to three beautiful and vivacious children and in the process of carrying and birthing them, my body was injured. Even though their births were uncomplicated, I ended up with core and pelvic floor dysfunction that kept me from doing many of the things I loved and left me feeling very defeated.
I spent many years seeing experts, taking continuing education classes and every fitness program for core and pelvic floor that I came across in an attempt to heal myself. Some things would help a bit or for a time, but nothing really got to the heart of the problem. Finally, I bought the Restore Your Core ® program hoping for the best. And it is! I love it so much that I became certified to teach Restore Your Core ® and the complimentary Body Ready Method for those who are pregnant. I wish I had this information when I was pregnant and newly postpartum! I am SO thrilled to add this knowledge to my repertoire and offer it to my clients every day. I’ve never met a single person who doesn’t benefit from strengthening and learning more about their core, so this work is now at the heart of everything I teach.
